I went back through a month of things I saved, expecting noise. Instead I found a single argument running underneath almost all of it. Not artificial intelligence, though AI is the loudest character. The argument is about gatekeeping. Who decides which people may use the most capable machines ever built. Who decides which powerful man faces consequences and which one walks. Who decides what story you wake up believing. In every case there is a gate, someone standing at it, and an incentive worth naming. So let me name them.
