Architect / Builder / Maker
Background
Tallinn, Estonia. Building things since 2012.
I build software products. Some for other people, some for myself. The through-line: taking messy problems and shipping clean systems that hold up under real traffic.
I've built at Ericsson, Bolt, and Genius Sports. Architected an ESG risk platform that processes 60+ languages. Started my first venture at 15, running game servers with thousands of players before I had a bank account.
Right now I consult on architecture, ship side projects, and look for the next thing worth building from scratch.
What I Do
Product Architecture
I design the technical backbone for data-heavy products. Multilingual NLP pipelines, event-driven systems, APIs that serve millions of requests. From first whiteboard sketch to production deploy.
Hands-on Engineering
TypeScript, C#, Go, cloud infrastructure. I still write code daily. The best architecture comes from someone who ships, not someone who only draws diagrams.
Venture Building
I've launched projects from zero: game servers at 15, streaming platforms, SaaS tools. Currently exploring what to build next. The pattern: find a gap, ship fast, iterate with real users.
Core Skills
Leadership & Vision
Setting direction and cutting scope so teams ship
Building small teams that ship fast
Turning messy orgs into ones that deliver
Keeping engineers and execs on the same page
Good leadership means setting clear goals, removing obstacles, and helping the team do their best work.
Technical Architecture
Structuring codebases around domain boundaries
Designing APIs and services that scale without rewrites
Running production workloads on Azure and AWS
Making slow systems fast and brittle systems reliable
Good architecture is about making sensible trade-offs and building for maintainability over time.
Data & AI Innovation
Building pipelines that turn raw data into usable signals
NLP across 60+ languages for real-time risk detection
Shipping AI systems with clear guardrails and audit trails
Automating compliance checks that used to be manual
Effective data systems solve specific problems with clear metrics and reliable performance.

"I've worked with Manish as a direct manager - he was part of the Web team, working as a Software Engineer (Full Stack). Manish showed himself as an engineer with a strong technical background, curious about latest industry developments and looking around for potential better solutions. Communication was great, both from my side and from various stakeholders. He is good at research and presenting results of the research to others. Also looks outside of his immediate tasks too - proactively looking for issues and improvements."
